Drypoints: Little Bird and Imaginary Moth

Drypoint is an intaglio printmaking process accomplished by making lines on a metal plate without the use of acid to etch the lines. The resulting lines are fuzzier and softer than those that are acid-etched

During past 16 months I have had the pleasure to work in the studio and exhibit etchings with my good friends and colleagues in our group known as Atelier Four. We've had four exhibitions this past year, one at the Cazenovia College Gallery, in Cazenovia, New York, at the Cogar Gallery at Herkimer County Community College, at the Lightner Gallery at Keuka College and at the Delavan Gallery in Syracuse, New York.

I am tremendously grateful for this ongoing project. It is a rare privilege to be able to once again experience the collaborative and cooperative spirit of the printmaking studio.
