Fledglings : Etching with Drypoint
During past 16 months I have had the pleasure to work in the studio and exhibit etchings with my good friends and colleagues in our group known as Atelier Four. We've had two exhibitions this past year, one at the Cazenovia College Gallery, in Cazenovia, New York and at the Delavan Gallery in Syracuse, New York.I am tremendously grateful for this ongoing project. It is a rare privilege to be able to once again experience the collaborative and cooperative spirit of the printmaking studio.
My most recent work has been focused on drypoint on copper plate-- the process of incising the plate without the use of acid.

About Me
- Name: Amy Georgia Buchholz
Amy Georgia Buchholz is a painter-printmaker. She has a B.A. in Art from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, and a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She was a past recipient of a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Graphics; a Kirkland College Fellowship; and a New York State Council on the Arts Artist in Residency Grant. She has also been an adjunct instructor in drawing and design at Hamilton College in Clinton, NY and in Art History at Utica College of Syracuse University. Her works have been exhibited at Munson-Williams-Proctor Institute School of Art; The Kirkland Art Center; Hamilton College's Emerson Gallery; and The Pleiades Gallery in New York City among other venues.
